The church is located at 3909 St. George’s Lane, off Maynard St. The animals are blessed during the service, a time when we gather to acknowledge the love and service they give, and recognize the need for us to advocate for the well-being of all animals. There will be a collection taken during the service, and the proceeds will be shared among local animal advocacy organizations. There will be refreshments for the humans, and pet treats for the animals. We hope to see you there!
Mount St. Mary Hospital (corner Fairfield and Quadra) welcomes you to a blessing of your pets on Saturday, October 4 from 10–12. The Blessing is a fun social event, including an opportunity to interact with experts, a silent auction, raffle prizes, goodie bags and lots of warm fuzzies! If the weather is inclement, displays without live animals will be moved into the Village Square in the hospital and the Blessing will take place under tents.
